'THE FAMILY' ARRIVES AT LAS ROZAS VILLAGE

Cristina, Bruno, Marc and May, along with the loveable dogs Rei, Pep, Coco Stella, Olivia and Jean Paul, have arrived at Las Rozas Village to bring art to guests in a playful way. This collection of sculptures called ‘The Family’ depicts a family walking through the Village and is a representation of the happiness that can be found in the little things in life.

This installation of ten large-format sculptures is the work of artist Eva Armisén. Hailing from Saragossa, Eva is now based in Barcelona. She has a long career and international training under her belt, having begun her fine art studies at the University of Barcelona and completed her education at the Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam.

Eva’s work captures daily life as something extraordinary, and is intended to inspire optimism and zest for life: she is truly an ambassador of happiness.

Painting and engraving are the techniques that Eva uses most regularly, but she has also turned her hand to sculptural installations, such as the one that can be seen in the Village. Eva’s work has also included creating pieces to be used in advertising, film and television, among others.

Her work has been exhibited in galleries around the world from Asia (Seoul, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei and Shanghai) to America (Los Angeles), through to Europe (Lisbon and Barcelona) and Australia (Melbourne).

With this artistic installation, Las Rozas Village welcomes the start of autumn and supports design, creativity and talent once again – offering guests a unique experience in the Village, in addition to the boutiques from leading fashion brands.
